The ODDS (Olympus Dictation Delivery Service) is a dictation App designed
for use with both iPhone & Android devices. It allows users to
dictate on the move and send dictation back to the typist from anywhere
in the world. There is a Free version that is designed for use with the FlashAir Card
for transferring dictation either from a DS-7000 or DS-3500 Digital
Voice Recorder.
The Full version allows users to record directly from
their mobile phone in DSS/DS2 format as well as adding 256bit encryption
to secure dictation files.
To use the Full App an annual subscription is required. This comes in the form of a License which can be purchased here at Dictaphones.co.uk.
The ODDS License grants full access to the Olympus Dictation Portal (ODP) for one user (12 months).
This
license allows a user of the Olympus Dictation App to connect to the
online Dictation portal (ODP) to make use of additional professional
dictation features such as...
- Support of audio formats DSS & DSS Pro (industry standard for professional speech processing)
- Password protected dictations supported by DSS Pro (256 bit AES encryption)
- Secure data transfer via HTTPS / FTPS / SFTP
- Optional connection to a self-hosted ftp server
- Auto-split of large files
- Central administration via Olympus Dictation Portal (access via web browser)
- Assigning dedicated worktype lists to users (groups)
- Defining recipients for users
- Defining transfer methods and recording formats
- Setting security features
- Using meta information like Author IDs for automatic processing
The app settings can be centrally administrated via the Olympus Dictation Portal (ODP).
