This new device maintains the core principles of the previous the DS-2500 - offering users a basic software package alongside a high quality recording device. However, the new DS-2600 now offers Slide Switch Control functionality. Slide Control operation allows users to dictate in a familiar analogue style using a single wear-free slide control. This feature has previously been exclusive to top-end dictation machines - now the all new Olympus DS-2600 is the very first machine to offer users a top-end slide control functionality at an entry level cost.

If you want to record a meeting or a larger sized conference, connect one or more external microphones to the DS-2600 and capture every voice. Up to 6 ME33 Microphones can be connected in parallel or in series.

Olympus AS-2400

The Olympus AS-2400 guarantees easy transcriptions of any DSSPro, DSS, WAV, WMA, and MP3 recordings.

For dedicated transcription needs, Olympus offers the AS-2400 Transcription Kit which includes an RS-28 footswitch and E-102 Headset for hands-free operation.

Data can be labelled according to importance or priority and files can be viewed at any time. It allows easy transfer from the voice recorder to the secretary’s office.

The Olympus AS-2400 is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8.1 and Windows 10. Included in the kit is Software for Mac OS X 10.3.9 through to 10.11 El Capitan.

The DS-2600 and AS-2400 transcriber are compatible with BigHand Software.
